Libraryshare.net is a place on the web for those working in libraries to store, share and discuss emerging technologies and ideas. Primarily I will use it to house all my pet projects that I work on in my free time but I'm happy for others to participate on the site and provide web space and tools. Please let us know a little about yourself and the library you work for, if applying to join the site. Email me on: admin@libraryshare.net after signing up for approval. Thanks Camilo

Below is a Facebook app developed by Chilifresh to include an OPAC interface in your Facebook Page. Part of the suite of tools available to subscriptions to their connections product. Visit www.chilifresh.com to find out more.
What is interesting here is how it is possible to use tools like phpcurl to interface with an OPAC.

This post is a summary of several different projects and ideas i've had in relation to the online databases and resources that public libraries have. While strictly not my field I have played a part in the organising of this resources on our wbesite and access to what happens with these resources.

I have been playing around with ideas for apps that can be useful for library patrons. I have developed this prototype app which allows you to scan in a books ISBN barcode and then search a library catalogue, add a review to chilifresh, get a google preview, check reviews on goodreads and librarything.
You can download the app here - [NB it is a prototype and doesnt have any graphical formatting and no known bugs]

I was experimenting with the site ISBNDB as a means to enter a title of a book and find its ISBN.
This was part of a different project.
